1) Mission-Aligned Use

The Site exists to advance our nonprofit mission: reducing environmental impact through innovative waste management, advocacy, and community education. You agree to use the Site only for lawful, non-commercial purposes consistent with that mission.

2) No Professional Advice

All content is provided for general informational and educational purposes regarding sustainability and waste reduction. We do not provide legal, financial, or professional engineering advice. See our Disclaimer for more details.

3) Accounts & Submissions

If you submit information (e.g., contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, volunteer interest, or service inquiries):

  • You confirm it is accurate and you have the rights to share it.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and review it to operate our programs.
  • We reserve the right to remove or reject submissions at our discretion.

4) Donations; Recurring Gifts; Refunds

  • Donations directly support our environmental programs and operations.
  • Recurring gifts continue until you cancel (available via the link in your receipt or by contacting us).
  • If a specific project is fully funded, we may reallocate funds to the most urgent environmental need.
  • For mistaken or duplicate donations, contact us within 15 days at info@cutthewaste.org for a resolution.

5) Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, the Site and its content are owned by Cut The Waste or used with permission. You may share or link to our content for non-commercial, educational use with proper attribution and without modification. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

6) Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or infringe upon the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape data at scale, or introduce malware.
  • Use the Site to advertise or sell third-party goods or unauthorized services.
